Ramana Jampala is currently a Principal with Silicon Alley Seed Investors (SASI), a New York City based early stage VC firm backed by Canaan Partners, Rho Ventures and Sevin-Rosen Funds. He has extensive operating experience across North America, Europe, and Asia, in a broad range of fields, from engineering and technology investment banking to digital strategy consulting

Before joining SASI, Ramana founded Trajectory Consulting in Silicon Valley, which assisted telecom start-ups to identify, prioritize, resolve, and implement key management issues. Prior to founding Trajectory Consulting Ramana worked as a Strategy Lead with Viant in San Francisco, and prior to it worked with Chase H&Q in the U.K.

Ramana began his career as a Systems Engineer with Rockwell International to design, develop, and implement communications and control systems, and led many engineering design projects in the United States, Canada, Netherlands, Germany, Brazil, Turkey, and Venezuela.

Ramana holds an MBA from London Business School, and graduated with distinction in Electronics Engineering from Pune University in India.
